| My name is Summer DeLane Haynes and I live and trained in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My parents are Bill and Denise Haynes and I have a small poodle named Sandy. I am the youngest of three children.
I trained at Tulsa World since I was eleven years old. Currently I am a gymnast at Texas Womens University, I am the third Tulsa World of Gymnastics gymnast to attend TWU on a gymnastics scholarship. During this past competitive season I began by placing 7th at the Atlanta Crown Invitational, then at the Nadia Invitational I placed 2nd All-Around. I also placed 2nd All-Around at the Pike's Peak Cup in Colorado, then at the State meet I won vault and placed 2nd All-Around again. At Region III regionals I placed 7th AA and that qualified me to my 3rd consecutive year at JO Nationals. In Orlando the Region III Team placed second. I have maintained a 4.0 grade point average and was a member of the National Honor Society and Who's Who among American High School Students. I have taken and passed both the ACT and SAT tests for college entrance requirements. I was very pleased with my season this year and feel my greatest accomplishment in gymnastics is qualifying to three consecutive JO Nationals.
